With all of the research coming to light over the last few years, it has been rather shocking to realize exactly how many of the items we use on a daily basis contain Bisphenol A (BPA). Used for decades (since the late 1950s in the manufacturing of some types of plastic, BPA has been shown to be an endocrine disrupter and that the levels of BPA in people are (as of 2007) significantly higher then levels considered harmful in laboratory animals.
In order to ensure the health and safety of my customers, I have never used containers manufactured over seas and use only containers made by reputable North American companies. I am quite pleased to point out that none of the containers that I use (and that includes my popular Honey Sticks!) contain any BPA.
